Description
Certain 2024 and 2025 Tacomas came with holes in the rear section of the frame that are not reinforced for mounting recovery points or aftermarket rear bumpers. These models include all 2024 and some 2025 model year SR5 and TRD Sports. All model year TRD Off-Road, TRD PRO, and TrailHunter models should already include these welded in from the factory, along with later 2025 and up TRD Sport and SR5 models. If you are unsure if you need these, look at the inside of the rear section of your frame. If you see that two of the three holes have welded tubes in them, you don’t need these. If you see three holes with plastic plugs in them, you would need these to safely install rear recovery points or an aftermarket bumper that utilizes those holes for mounting.
The purpose of these sleeves is to keep the frame from crushing while tightening the large bolts for recovery points or aftermarket rear bumpers, as well as reduce the hole size to properly fit the mounting bolts. Sold in sets of four.
Made from heavy wall DOM tubing with 3/16″ plate flanges. Welding these in at the flanges is recommended, but not totally necessary.
